Description
Join Us at the EPFL Initiative for Cancer Science and Engineering (EICSE) Retreat – May 22nd, 2026
The EICSE Retreat is back, and we’re inviting you to be part of something truly impactful. On Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at EPFL-SV 1717 and SV Hall, we’re bringing together researchers, innovators, and thinkers from across EPFL—whether your lab is focussed on cancer research or not—to ignite collaboration and accelerate progress in the fight against cancer.
This one-day retreat is a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share transformative ideas, and spark new partnerships. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to hear short, engaging talks from PIs, post-docs, and students—each offering fresh perspectives and cutting-edge research. You’ll also get the opportunity to dive deeper into ongoing projects during our interactive poster sessions, and take part in dynamic discussions. The day will also feature a standing lunch and coffee breaks to keep the conversations flowing, and we’ll wrap up the retreat with a social BBQ to continue the exchange of ideas and the community we’re building together.
To make it all happen, we ask for a small participation fee of 50 CHF to cover expenses. Your presence will help shape the future of cancer science and engineering.
We can't wait to see you there and create something extraordinary together!
