Description The EPFL Initiative for Cancer Science and Engineering (EICSE) Retreat will take place this year, on Friday, 7th June, 2024 at EPFL-SV 1717 and SV Hall. Confirmed Speakers for this year's retreat: Mags Kelly - Hess Lab, SB Milena Schuhmacher, SB Suliana Manley, SB Guillermina Ramirez San Juan, SB Maartje Bastings, STI Christophe Merten, STI Viola Sgarminato, Moser Lab - STI Francesco Stellacci, STI Bart Deplancke, SV Nicolas Thoma, SV Gioelle La Manno, SV Nako Nakatsuka, SV The aim of this one-day retreat is to foster collaboration throughout EPFL among research groups that have an interest in cancer research, even if the main focus of your lab is not cancer research. We want to bring together diverse members of the EICSE group to share ideas and projects. Throughout the day, we will feature short talks by PIs, post-doc and students. We will have a poster session and time for open discussion. A standing lunch and coffee breaks are included, as well as an invitation to attend a social early evening BBQ to conclude the day. We would ask you to register and pay the small participation fee of 50 ChF for each participant. We look forward to seeing you there!
